I've never actually heard of it, so I have no idea. I use a different program for the same purpose though, and I've never had any problems with it at all. If you're interested, you can find it at: http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/GMai...load-15944.html

thx. yeah, i've already got that. the thing that's appealing about xmail (if it's not just phishing for pw's) is that there's nothing to install. log in from anywhere in the world, i suppose...

or you can always e-mail the gmail admins and ask them if this is real or some scam. however they will most likely be like many providers of a service like that and say, "We will never ask you for your password and cannot be responsible for any damages that result from you giving your password to a 3rd party." ... or something along those lines anyway lol.

it is real and it works.... it's a little slow though....

Why would you use this and take a risk when you could just use gmail. :(

hm. enter your password. heh? i'm not fallng for anything suspicious like that. a password for an account is only for that account, and 3rd party software should never get a hint of passwords from other services. even if it's real, it's quite pointless in my opinion :slant: gmail is fine for me and that's all i need :D
