[help]Remote Administration Software

Well imma be moving out of state soon.. And I need a way to be able to take control of my uncle's and parent's comp so i can run windows updates and take out spyware and run regular maintenance..

does anyone have any recomendations?

a free version would be great but a shareware one would be ok too

Well if it's Windows XP, the RDC (Remote Desktop Control) client comes with it for free.

If not, not sure of any free or even shareware options out there that are what I would consider secure.

I personally donot like the RDP, it sometimes gives annoying errors.

I use TightVNC to control my Bro's PC.

You can also download Real VNC

This is a perfect KVM solution., and its available for win, lin, Solaris , OSX.
