ok, the irc chat room is lame, it was lame last time we had it. no one is using it, again, just like last time. i have been in there maybe 5 times, and its always empty.
at least with the shout box u can say something, and chime back in an hour later and see what some one said. the irc room just dosn't work.
bring it back timma!!!

I miss it as well... I cannot use IRC from work.
Yeah the shoutbox was convienent, but IRC? too much. Plus I still refuse to use it, my geek level will not reach IRC porportions!
i don't think i ever used the shoutbox other then the first day.. after that i kept it hidden..
it does come in handy at times.. but having it at the top of the forum kinda annoyed me....
i think if the shoutbox was set up on a diff page maybe... instead of at the top of the forums...
or even setting up irc so you can get to it via web browser instead of irc client
but thats my opinion..

How about a web based irc client on the a-s website, still kinda acts like a shoutbox, and also provides a quick and easy way for those to join the irc channel who are currently having difficulties.
I'm missing it terribly...bring it back at once I say.

lol at one time It was me and then like 5 other people until I left, then it was only 4 others.....
I was banned from the start so I dunno, I'm not missing it since I was missing out on it.
Shoutbox was lame and served as a place for braind dead people who used it as a search box even though it had the damn text saying it's not.

No, the problem is you guys requested an irc room. I go through the trouble to get one setup, no one uses it. Reason beining, anything in this community that requires the least bit of effort can't work out.
