Aqua-Soft Forumsdoes anyone have this annoying error popping up sometimes.please see attached pic.i have windows xp pro SP1 and using the uxtheme patch.

Uxtheme patch doesn't do anything to windows explorer, it just replaces uxthme.dll in the system32 folder with a slightly modded one to allow the use of 3rd party themes. In answering your porblem it would help to know what (if any) other system hacks/alterations/programs that change things you are using.
One question though, why aren't you using sp2...? There are a lot of bugfixes and security things in it that you should have x_X;.
that should have nothing to do with the uxtheme hack, which is only a change in hex code in the file that allows you to use 3rd party styles.
windows udpates may have some updated code for explorer.
i already tried with the SP2 installed but i still got the errors.so i uninstalled it.
coz my computer is just doing fine without the SP2.till i got this error.thanks for the help guys.at least i know that its not the uxtheme.
