Did you know that here in the Philippines, there is a Mineral Water business called Aquasoft? Just so you know.
Is this violating copyright?
Its sad, over here in the states we have some fruit called an apple, and I believe, I may be wrong though, there is a company called Apple aswell, STRANGE world.
oh c'mon guys. its aqua-soft not aquasoft in the first place.
in the second place - do you think microsoft would sit on a company using micro-soft?
i dont think so

That's because it's Microsoft. Big companies wouldn't stand for something like that...neither would Apple (Ap-ple?) in a similar situation.

Apple i think is the first one to use the name of the said fruit. But in this case, you guys from Aqua-Soft are the first ones to use the said name. And some people just ditch the dash to be able to use the same name. And fyi, I think the water company ripped-off your name since it just came in about i think a couple of months ago.
no one ripped anyone lol, aqua-soft isn't that unique of a name, anyone can come up with that name. I remember telling someone I ran a site called aqua-soft, they thought it was for pools lol.
and don't forget the problem with fiona apple vs apple-computer lawsuits.
steelfist is that true? ![]()
here's a little quote from a site.
"Apple Legal: Musician Fiona Apple Sued for Trademark Infringement
Apple computer announced on Wednesday that the company has filed a lawsuit against former musician Fiona Apple over use of the term “Apple” in her name. Citing possible brand confusion and trademark dilution concerns, Apple is requesting the musician adopt a stage name so as not to confuse potential Macintosh buyers. Apple public relations spokesperson Jared Gilhousen explains, “Apple customers who mistakenly bring home a Fiona Apple CD expecting it to be the new Mac mini could become confused, angry, and frustrated with the Apple brand when the music disk fails to connect to their digital camera."
honestly, i don't really know if this is true, or this is a joke.
and, judge, is the guy's name donald and he owns a mac shop? ![]()
yeah i think the MacDonald can be a spoof shop. The guy's name is Donald and he sells Mac stuff. That's a great market strategy, entertaining and informative.
Hmm. The Beatles used 'Apple'. I seem to remember a bit of a lawsuit there. Is that showing my age
?
*edit* Jesus, how do you get the smilies to work on this thing?
Lol Old who me? I believe the Beatles Apple Music V's Apple Computers is still before the courts. ![]()
LOL, toilet paper.... that's a good one

Unbeliever, ja45on found the toilet paper AquaSoft you we're talking about.
Yes, there really is a toilet paper.
Since the site name is actually Aqua-Soft, and the toilet paper, contact lenses, and water names are Aqua Soft/AquaSoft...A-S is fine. ![]()
Does anyone remember this debacle?
