Working on my first icon set.

Let me know what kind of objects you want in the set, keeping with the theme.

Wow! its gr8! I

However it reminds me of my practical exams

What do u use to create them, if i may know ? :D

I'm using several programs. Making complex glass & liquid shapes in the gimp or a vector app is tedious so I made a quick 3d model in blender and raytraced it. Then I took it into the gimp and added faux transparency (since alpha transparency != glass refraction)

But for other icons I'm doing in vectors, I'm using Inkscape. Drop shadows and blurs go in with the gimp.

How about a microscope, telescope, perhaps some molecules, surgical equipment, globe, calculator... will post more ideas if I can come up with anything.

Looks awesome!

Please use proper tags next time.

Anything that has to do with school would work well I think. Regardless, so far, these look stunning. It's nice to see some original works coming out.

Can't wait for the release!

great ideas!

so far I have added biohazard and radioactivity warnings, a geiger counter, test tubes, and some atomic stuff.

I'm going to do a microscope tonight.

And no, I don't run linux. I'm happily running OS X on a new mac mini.
