[Help] Black Screen when using 3D apps

I've just finished a clean install of Windows XP (New Hard Drive so decided to do a declutter), before I did the clean install all my games and 3D apps were working fine, now they cause a black screen soon after starting (I can play World of Warcraft long enough to say "Hi" to my guild then it goes black screen on me).

The hardware setup has not changed since I reinstalled Windows, drivers and Windows are all up to date, DirectX is up to date and everything 2D works fine.

Additional Note: Just tested it while running iTunes in the background and it appears the PC itself just stops.

AMD Athlon64 3000

1Gb PC3200 Corsair RAM (Already passed both MemTest86 and MemTest86+)

400W Optronix PSU

XFX GeForce 6600GT

LG Dual Layer DVD+/-RW + DVD-RAM Drive

Sony CD-RW 48x/24x/48x (Flashed with improved Bios now does 48x/32x/48x)

200Gb Seagate SATA HDD

8Gb Fujistu IDE HDD (Windows installed here)

Both formatted NTFS

I hate to say it, but... You did read the post fully? I did say I had updated the drivers. Both Stable release versions direct from the nVidia website.
