Multiple Application Windows

How do you deal with multiple windows from one application (other than alt-tab and of course the Windows taskbar, which I don't use)? For example IM windows can be a pain...

Well if you chat with 25 people at the time and find all suggestions innadequate, i think you should look elsewhere.
