Description:
What is a shell object? The "My Documents" folder is a shell object. It is a special shell object, a shell folder. Shell folders are not real folders on your hard disk, they only refer to real folders. They are a kind of "hard links", a special type of shortcuts.
Ok, you can use shortcuts to hard disks or you can use shortcuts to directories on your desktop to access places on your hard disk you often need to access. But you can't browse them that easy, shell folders are much easier to use.
- Can be used to put special icons on the Desktop!

With http://www.angelfire.com/falcon/speedload/Enabler.htm or http://mr-drone.cybermaniac.com/page3.htm (Enabler) you can force the use of the specific button even if it is gryed out! Works with all disabled buttons in all programs. Second example: enable IconPackager to use per-drive icons in Windows XP.
Warning: if used without care it might completely mess up your system... (no, changing the icon is no problem, but what do I know what you nerds are up to do with it).
