Question About Phoenix/ Firebird Hack->

I went through MageGurus excellent thread, Safari, the tutorials. Now my Phoenix browser looks great and has some killer functions I never knew it could have.

However, when I used Tutorial 10: How to make websites like Apple.com see Phoenix as Safari., my java plug in started acting up, as java now thinks I'm running Internet Explorer instead of Netscape. Everything else works, and other than a nag screen everytime I load Phoenix I'm cool...

So how do I disable or correct this? I dont need a .Mac account (yet)...so this really doesn't do much for me. Any suggestions?

Hmmmm. I thought Apple had disabled that little recognition feature anyway (read it on some forum post ehre some time ago).

As to your problem - have you tried reversing Step 10?

If all else fails, I guess it's not too bug a job to reinstall Firebird (hehe, I LOVE that it's just a folder unpack - very nice, quick and clean!) and redo the tutorial steps.

Hopefully someone else here can give you a mroe definitive answer!
