[Release] CisplatinX GUIKit for Windows

After months of toil and an almost complete rebuild from scratch, I proudly present my first ever Windows theme !

Update (07/08):

This is for those of you who were having trouble with the tabs.

This is a theme which requires modded tabextensions to work properly and I realise my monumental blunder in assuming that most people who download the theme will already have the appropriate extensions.

Anyway, I have included the required files in this update. Please note that in no way I take credit for the first two of these files which I have obtained through my long association with the Aquasoft forums. They are the work of the many hardcore modders this community has produced and all credit goes to them.

These are being included here only for the sake of convenience. They include : tabextensions, Apple compact menu, userchrome.css and my settings for tabextensions.

Please read the Readme.txt in the Safarifox folder for detailed instructions on how to set up Also, if you are using the Fusion extension, you will have a pretty messy Safarifox on your hands so please disable it !

What font do i need (Or which one are you using in the screenshot)? It uses tahoma/verdana/arial (i really can't tell the difference between them when there small ) for me, and it looks quite crappy :/

Edit: Also, there ain't a button for the 'Show hidden icons' on the systray :slant:

I use LucidaMac. You can find the font for download at my site in case you don't have it.

In case you are using the VS, there is no visible systray expander button by design. It's Zorda's choice and I have let him have the creative freedom to do so.

Notice that I said "visible", which means it's there, only you can't see it

the way the gradient is.. the blue color... the way the title bar widgets are exactly the way samui is

it's just too samuish.. just the gloss and the white instead of grey metal differentiates them or else i'd say this is a "port"

@ pwnzrzpat : It's surprising how screenshots of the theme have been around for 2 months now and you're the first person to complain about a likeness to Samui.

Imho, it looks nothing like Samui, except perhaps the highlight colour and that can be changed to any colour under the sun in SkinStudio I could have made it parrot green, but that would have made shivers run up and down my Aqua spine

@R1CK13 : That happens if you have a thick taskbar

@ El_Ditra : It's because there is a heavy gradient across the face of the window. Impossible to match the tabs accurately in all themes where there is a gradient I'm afraid.

i like your style, but even at the normal font size, there's buttons, etc. that aren't fitting well...

edit--hate to be the negative nilly on this thread, but here's another screenshot... firefox theme is not working for me either, download button (the A) is cutoff on the left side, and i can barely see the tabs...

The buttons seem kind of Niqu-ish, but the theme is pretty slick. I would like to see more down with the shellstyles (ie. the control panel is a bit blah), but i suppose that I've been spoiled by Stefanka . The effort put into this theme is quite evident and it's great to see you go to such lengths to get it released. Good job!
