easy.

most of the avi files are in shell32.dll. you can create your own easily:

here's what hush66 told me:

There are altogether 11 different AVIs (size in pixels are in brackets):

150 - Scan Folder (80x50 pixels).

151 - Scan Files (16x16 pixels).

152 - Scan Computer (16x16).

160 & 167 - Move Files (272x60).

161 & 168 - Copy Files.

162 - Move To Trash (272x67).

163 - Empty Trash (272x60).

164 & 169 - Empty Folder (272x60).

165 - File Check (272x60).

166 - Web Search (32x32).

170 & schdocvw.dll 256 - Internet Download (272x60).

The programs I use are Photoshop, ImageReady and Gif Movie Gear. First I extract whatever size format I want of each icon in Gif Movie Gear, saving it as PSD format. For instance, I want to create the Move File animation. Using Gif Movie Gear, I take the 32x32 format of the Folder icon, then the 24x24 size format of the Document icon. Using Photoshop, I create a 272x60 transparent canvas. I open the size formats I extracted with GMG earlier. I put them in the correct positions: 1 folder on the left, 1 on the right, and the document hiding behind the left folder. I then save this as a PSD file.

I then open this PSD file in ImageReady, ready to make the actual animation. I move the document layer image a few steps to the right using the cursor keys. I normally move it 8 or 10 times. And I go on making each frame till the Document image is hidden behind the right Folder image. Now, save the result as a GIF file.

Now, start Gif Movie Gear. Check that Edit -> Preferences -> Use is set as Building, Editing ... 256 color AVI Animations. Open up the GIF file. Then select Image -> Unoptimize. Preview the animation and make sure you like the speed of the animation. Then File -> Save As and save it as an AVI file (with RLE8 compression).

Done! All ready to be put into your shell32.dll file!
