it can't be a playstation. only emulated with very crappy performance IMHO :slant:
1.42GHz PowerPC G4
512MB DDR333 SDRAM
ATI Radeon 9200 32MB DDR
80GB Ultra ATA HDD
you want to say that its very bad? hmmm... i don't need to play Quake3... Something like WorldOfWarcraft and some good-old strategy...
all i'm saying is, you can't play playstation games that well. that's all. but games, they are equal to ibooks. so checkout the benchmarks for ibooks and mac minis at www.macworld.com, http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/, and http://barefeats.com/. by playstation. you mean THE playstation from sony? :slant: if yes, then definetly NO. if mac games, it should be ok but a bit more ram is recommended.
No. By "playstation" i mean "a something to play games" =) Not PlayStation/Xcube/YSphere/etc.
PS
Thanks for links. I'll check them
well i don't have more than the standard 512mb/ram in my mini and its fine. i can play quake3 and halo and they both work fine. you might like 1gb better but its a bit expensive.

:slant: .
sorry. now i understand
.
and, i have never heard of Xcube or Ysphere ![]()
and, i don't really understand what Folye is trying to say with that one character :slant: :slant:
just buy as much ram as possible. the mini you're talking about is fine for stuff like WoW.
if your interested in older games, the mac is doing good in this area.
i've got an old 600mhz iMac G3, and it plays SNES games better than my 1.8Ghz windows box.
I have a mac mini and, every time I turn it on message keeps popping up (your starteup files are getting full erase some files) How do you get to starteup files? so I can start erasing/Users/darrelljackson/Desktop/media.jpg
