can you throw some light on your config (like GFX card make/model, driver versions, OS, processor, Ram etc.)??
maybe then it would be easier for us to see what could be wrong...

No, I have this problem in many applications, not just Firefox.
Well I tuned down the graphics acceleration...seems to be okay now.
