In addition to my Layered Folders i decided to make some drive icons. They will come in 2 flavours. hope you like them!
for those having problems seeing the preview try this

Am I the only one who can't see the preview

am i the only one who doesnt think the "grill" on the opposite side of the drive looks way too close to the front of the drive? it doesnt look like it matches the distance of the other one.

nice style - haven't seen icons like these before. but i'm with riot - the perspective's off in terms of the grill on the far side - it needs to be moved farther back on the drive.
wow those look nice. i was wondering how you were going toachieve a layered appereance with drives, but you managed to pull it off with the vents. you are shaping up to be a wonderful iconist, and i look forward to seeing more from you in the future. <3

i've updated the preview because i made the moddifications to the perspective issues.
for those who cant see the preview i added a direct link to the preview picture.
I can notice a big difference from this preview to the first one. You did a good job fixing the problem.
Problem with Imageshack.us for us Asian users since the past 3 days. I've experienced this some months ago too. It took them a week or so to sort it out.
Anyway, I'm sure they must rock just as your earlier work did

Great drives but i have one suggestion and one request. Hope you wouldn`t mind them.
1. The CD/DVD door look a bit "chubby". They should be wider or thinner to reflect the proportions correctly.
2. I`m a fan of "default angled" drives (like the default ones in OSX) so i was wondering if we can expect an alternate version of these drives?

the drive is correct. it's called perspective
that's why when you see the osx drive the right and left sides aren't parallel except that only has one v.p. this one has 2 (possibly 3)

The screenshot has been updated that is why the perspective looks correct.
