Help,First-time user for AveDesk

how do i make this connection window link up to an avedesk docklet

listing it as a normal .ink file inside the desklet properties cant make the window pop up

i used the default desklet inside AveDesk and modified captions,icon etc.

when i right click on a custom docklet to configure Sysstat

the icon disappears and the caption reverts back to "Sysstat"

i also cant make sysstat display the disk space for my desklet,i did use overlay and meter

i read the manual and they mentioned something about disk docklet,but i guess they removed it in the installer :confused:

If you look in your windows/system32 folder, there is a file called "rasphone." If you create a regular shortcut desklet in AveDesk, and point it to that file, it should do what you want.

If you are having a problem configuring a SysStat desklet where the icon disappears, just bring up the AveDesk control panel and fix it in there.

And which desklet are you trying to use to display disk space?? The pidlshortcut will do that quite nicely.

hey the rasaphone thing works,although i still have to go through one extra window to get to the connection window

btw....how do u use avedesk to display ram usage and cpu temps?

anyway to display hdd temps too?

Try using the search function in the forum, that should answer your questions about the desklets. SysStats configs will do ram usage for you....and if you have MBM or something, you can do temps too.

ok i dled the sysstats pack1

pretty neat but is there any better ones?the pack still lacks something like hdd temp display
