Umm, well, since i see that all of you are underway in your new Tiger transformation. I was wondering when a Spotlight cloe will be released for non-Google Desktop users??? I cannot run Google Desktop cause of nmy anti-virus. I hope that someday i can use a spotlight clone. thx/

Me too.. Wow first time i heard that... Check for another anti-virus, or reconfig that.. Not supposed having probs with Google desktop or an app
In fact Panda Anti- Virus is better that Norton or Macafee combined. It is not crap but it does get in the way of Spotlight. Check Googles program conflict list. Panda AV is in there and since i last checked Searchlight is no longer in development. Or the developer is taking a really long break cause he haas not update his site for like 5 months.
Isn't there any way you can remove google desktop search from the areas that panda checks for virus etc... I'm pretty sure it's possible. Not entirely sure, but maybe 70 % sure 
Don't use it then...find something that makes your desktop happy.
Could someone base a spotlight clone on AppRocket??? It is a very fast spotlight like tool. You would just have to skin it. It has all of the animations and parsing things down and it works on my desktop.
Why would anyone want to emulate Spotlight ? I didn't like it on Mac , why would I want it on Windows ? It's annoying.
