Yeah Ive seen it in real life. Its REALLY REALLY thin. Thinnest I've ever seen. And its not too expensive.
But I'd buy a mac anyday. :rule:
The top of the line Alienware Laptops have them. They're pretty sweet. They're only like $2500 too. Cheap for what you get.
Though I'd really, really want a 17" Powerbook. I'm waiting what the new 15"PB would have to offer ![]()
Those look pretty good but I generally am not for laptops because you usually pay more for less. If someone sent one to me as a gift though I wouldn't complain. ![]()
bad thing about pc laptops, they only last about 30 min, then you got plug em in...

well.. its actually more like 45 minutes. But its around the same ![]()
anyway, you're right. My Dell laptop lasts around an hour MAX with low CPU usage.
My mac lasts around 3-4 hours if I 'use' it, and 5-6 hours with low CPU usage.
my toshiba laptop does last the 3 hours it says it does.
I'm guessing your dell is quite old Taha?
It doesnt have that much to do with the laptop, all regular laptops have the same parts. Its all about the battery.
But this Centrino crap is great. You get like 6+ hours, because different parts of the laptop turn off when not in use.
the battery life goes down as the battery gets old - thats what i meant.
The link i started with sounds good though - 6 hours with a battery or 90 minutes with a tiny built in cell.
