Looks good. It needs a gradient on the backgrond, just goign slightly darker. Same with the title, menu, etc.

. Unfortunately though, I'm seeing a horizontal scrollbar in the iFrame( checked in both FF and IE), which looks awkward. I think you can correct this be setting the margins in main.htm to 0 (zero) and having the actual margin inside the rectangle defined by the size of the iFrame itself, instead of in the linked html file.

No, it's just the same as a .com or .net domain. I just chose .biz because the name I wanrted wasn't taken on .biz
I use BudgetHostingWEb, only like $7 a year, it's great.
.biz is a misleading domain. .biz is for business and your site isn't close. when people see the domain they will have a first impression on it. "nah it's business i'll not look at it." and so on.
you use handel too much. handel is a decorative font and shouldn't be used so much.
NO CONTRAST AT ALL ON YOUR WEBSITE.
the headers are just slightly bold. everything is just tiny font. make the headers large and bolder. even change the type to a serif font for the headers. COLOR EVEN.
also the redish orange / green contrast is great. you need MORE of that color throughout.
the title is not creative at all. put some sPICE into your name.
the bezels are just stupid. maybe a main bezel for the content that would be contrasting so it would appeal the most out of all the parts of the website. also your bezels have weird lines on the right and bottom sides.
you have 2 devart links which is not good. also you are including it under your homepage which it clearly is hosted on devart.

this guy is talking rubbish mate....all i suggest you do is make a custom scrollbar for your site and lengthen the sidebar to match the height of the rest of the site....overall a nice and simple site...well done!

Firstof alll... my website is NOT hosted on dA. Period. Budgethsotingweb mate. If you don't believe me I can give you a link to the site directly from them, nto mirrored to systemroot.biz.
Next... about the .biz domain. It was taken because .com and .net were both already purchased, and that was the next best thing (they weren't offering .us at the time). Also, what about all those .tv sites, it doesn't stand for Television, but they use it for that anywho. In short, the extension doesn't really matter.
Now for the bezels.... what bezels? There aren't any.
Next would be contrast. I'm not up for style right now, I made it appeal to my tastes, while staying as minimalistic as I wanted it. Green with white text is plenty contrasting for me. Infact, it ddoesn't get much more contrasting unless you want me to go back to black/white.
The header size goes with teh minimalistic theme to the site, and handel is only use in hte nav, copyright, and title. Nothing else, every other page uses only Verdana.
Also, teh red orange/green contrast.... there is no red orange on my website. Still trying to figure out where that came from.
Now I appreciate that fact that you took teh time to analyze my site so deeply, and I probably should have stated that I was going for minimalistic in my first post. You probably could have phrased your post in a way that would make it sound less like an aggitated insult though.

The scrollbar is a nice idea, my site looks liek **** in IE so maybethat will draw attentioin away from it's crappy-ness. And the sidebar is short because the empty space is kidna of a pet peve, can't stand it.

Yah, I'm not really happy about the domain, but it was the only one with systemroot available. Bad thing is, I wouldn't even want systemroot.net or anything like that now. I was trying to think of a new one, but whether I like it or not, I'm stuck with this domain for 10 years. O.O Yah, the way the domain registry I bougth from works, it's $19 for 1 year, anad scales all the way to $10 a year for 10 years. Almsot forcing you to go fo rthe full ten year. Clever marketing indeed.
aw man, that sucks. a good webhosting is when they let you hold the power in your own hands. and lets you choose what hosting capacity you prefer. ten years is such a drag.
Defintiely, but I'm getting 25MB of space and unlimited bandwidth for something around $7 a year so no complaints. =D If I get desperate I can use CJB forwarding or something.
other free sites offer 100mb freespace. so i dunno if 25 is enough (not for me that's for sure)
