How to hide the recycle bin

I know hiding the recycle bin has been discussed already on Aqua Soft, but I've just found an article which has a nice solution in the form of a registry addition. Here's the article (from Microsoft):

If you use 'listing 3' a 'Show recycle bin on the desktop' checkbox appears in the advanced section of Window's Folder View options. Am attaching this reg file here.

or youi could just use the tweakui powertoy from microsoft and uncheck the box next to recyclebin...
