[HELP] Systats+Avedesk 1.2 & Sliding Drawers...

Does anybody know how to lower CPU usage when creating sliding drawers using sysstats?

Is it the animation speed or the graphics that slow it down when opening/closing, or is it just 'sysstats' being 'sysstats' ? Or is there something i need to do to optimise my wiget?

I'm running XP - P4 2.8Ghz and ive got 512MB onboard so am quite surprised at this CPU hogging effect..

As soon as I open or close the drawer, CPU usage shoots up to 100% for about 2/3 seconds..

and also as a side effect, the animation stutters..

The widget includes a time meter for a clock, is this conflicting somehow?

Any suggestions?

I think judge knows best on this, but I would say try to reduce the number of 'views' ehrrmm.. overlays (I had to look that word up in sysstats).

I'm not sure if the animation-meter/controller caches the bitmap it's animating... Judge?
