[Help] Advice on a Blogger Template

I have just finished converting a template from Xanga to Blogger for my Night Society site. As I haven't got my computer running again yet I haven't been able to replace the artwork with my own choice bits yet (I am going to ask a couple of people on DeviantART if they would allow me to use their art in the design).

I want to know what people think of it, and whether anyone has any suggestions on a replacement artwork (I really like the artwork, but I'd rather have something a bit more fitting to the sites name, e.g. Vampire or other dark art).

This site will be used for announcing my new projects once I've got my PC running again, at the moment, it's rant central. Oh, and yes the links will be changed once I have a bit of time to find my banners again.

A little too much white (well, not white...empty )space.

Crosshair for pointer...not good in my opinion. I know you may be trying to add to the whole vampire theme, but it's kinda distracting.

Can't really help you on the artwork, sorry .

The crosshair isn't my fault, it's in the CSS file that came with the Xanga theme. Once I find it, I'll remove it.

As for the white space, I'm not sure what to do about it. The site is designed for a much smaller screen resolution and I have huge problems with the layout in IE unless I leave it as absolute sizes.

I might put an extra box there for my latest screenshot... not sure.

EDIT: Yep, I'm going to put my releases and screenshots down the right hand side. It means adding them by hand on top of my blog template, but it's easy enough to do.

Just search in the CSS file for

cursor: crosshair;

And if you don't find anything, vary the whitespace.
