It's a good dock, maybe the dock with the smoother magnification algorytm (and that takes less cpu usage).

But it hasn't got something to distinguish from the other dock, i think.

Great work, otherwise.

EDIT: It's most a "Launcher" that a real "dock".

First of all, thanks for this great and fast program

I have a couple questions though, just out of curiosity, does this dock supports alpha blended .ico formats?

I've tried changing the icons to some other PNG format and it works fine, but when I've changed to some alpha blended .ico formats I'm seeing this jagged edges. (See screenshot) :slant: ?

The first icon is in PNG format, the second till the fourth is in ICO format.

Anyone having the same problem?

yeah it supports alpha blended in ico formats.

i used ico too but i never had experienced like that. mine works perfect.

Well I am sure that would have to be proposed by raduking himself. And RocketDock actually has plans to be part of a suite of customization software. Not sure what raduking has planned for RK Launcher, but I do wish him luck.

What exactly do you mean?

Visually, all themes from all docks look the same. Everyone has a similar taste in themes. The themes RocketDock comes with are all done from scratch but will resemble themes create by others.

Internally, RocketDock does NOT have it's own theme format. We decided it was completely annoying to make another "propriatary" theme that doesn't acctualy change any ssettings but rather the names. We do give credit to each format author we support (Y'z Dock, ObjectDock, MobyDock).

Anywho, please try and provide a little more information, I don't mean to be really defensive, but we take great pride in our software and would like a chance to either defend ourselves or provide any answers regarding something as quickly and professionally as possible.

Sorry i didnt give much information about the problem.

I dl this dock skin http://www.solitaryearth.com/yzbanner.jpg and put it in the RD dir.

but it doesnt look like the dock on the pic. instead it looks like the default RD Skin.

any idea what this could be ?

It works alright here...

Just rename the "Background" folder to be "YzFrostDock" and copy it into the "Skins" folder of RocketDock

The only problem here is a little directory confusion :cool:

hey s... just out of curiosity, unless I set the dock to always on top, a maximized window does not allow the dock to come to the front when reaching with the mouse... could this possibly be corrected? Also, I believe your app has a handle leak... I've had it rise 10,000+ at times. I hope you have luck in finding the issue, to tell you the truth, I have adoped your dock as my first choice... it launches shortcuts the fastest, and that's what a launcher should do first and foremost in my opinion. Very nice work thus far... I'm root'n for you

Just so everyone knows, due to working on both RocketDock and ÜberIcon I have very little time to look for /answer bugs and questions in other forums. If you find something do be sure and post in in our Punk! Software bug tracker along with any information you can provide (Operating System, version of RocketDock...etc).

it is just too hard to keep track of which forums posted which bugs. I really need to have a consoilidated place plus more information. Saying there is a leak means nothing.
