Is anyone interested in making a complete one ?

uhm tutorial... what exactly for? to create docklets? shortcuts? making it more Mac alike? or just a how-to-custo-the-launcher? sorry for the questions man, but im a bit confused

I would like to do one, but the problem right now is that i borrowed my lap to my bro and i have no machine right now so i guess i couldnt work it out right now...

thats great and all, but it has a function to enable that saves on exit. Settings > Behavior > saves on exit... kinda weird setting, but to save the changes you make you have to exit the launcher by right clicking and exiting, then start up again and your changes will be there. WIll not save if you just reboot after changes.

a tutorial about all features...

i keep getting e-mails from users that for example didn't even discover the right-click on separator to go to settings... like:

"Please add a feature to position the dock to the top of the screen" or

"I don't want my windows to minimize to the dock"

and the list can continue...

I'm thinkin' of something with screenshots of the basic features... like where is the settings menu and stuff like that...

it doesn't have to be made by one single person...

I will add it to the site when it's ready

yeah seriously, for some reason when i use that that thing to get the windows to minimize down into the corner or w/e it is, my taskbar goes away untill i maximize the window by clicking on the little preview of the window.. and instead of being on the sides like most people its on the actual dock :X

You could add a small "tips and tricks" pop-up or iframe or something to your website that would display some of the basic fuctions to the person when they come to download it...

Say something like the following... "Tip No1.: To activate RK's main menu, right click on the separator"

and you could even have a pic underneath it or something, I dunno...

That's just a suggestion , but I think the tutorial is a good idea and most likely a must.

A bit off topic - but how do I access the prefs? I have removed the separator (and, frankly i want it back but most importantly, access the preferences).

@Spiken...the only way I know of is to edit the config files in the RkLauncher folder. What I did when I screwed it up before by removing the seperator was to just copy the config files from my install file and overwrite the ones I had, so I could get the seperator back.

Go in the RKLauncher main folder and open with the block notes the file "itemlist.conf".

Add the line:

[RKDockItem]

type = separator
