are there any versions of iceman's vs files for the german windows xp versions?
if i install iceman's files i have an english/german mix in my xp 
if there arent: how can i adapt the english files into german files ?
does anybody know ?

First of all you should get Resourse Hacker, an app that decompiles some fiiles (such as *.exe, *.dll, .*cpl) allowing you to change whatever image is inside that file (such as bitmaps and icons) among other things. Get it here.
Then, what you have to do is to open your german system files (let's say shell32) and replace its icons wih Iceman's icons (placed in its english files). The icons are located in "Icon group" section (you will see this when you open the file). Select the icon you want to replace, right clic and choose "Replace resource". A dialog will pop up, where you can choose "Open file with new icon". Select Iceman's system file from which you want to retrieve your icon and clic "Replace"
Repeating this process you will be able to achieve german modded system files.
PS: sometimes, what you have to replace is not an icon but a bitmap, so if the bitmap is english you are not going to be able to "translate" that without a bitmap in german.
PS2: here is a guide of shell32.dll numbers in the "Icon group" section. (Remember each number matches an icon somewhere in Windows).

Just a last tip. I don't know if this happens with other XP versions (at least with spanish) .The fact is that you cannot replace "ntoskrnl.exe" (boot image) without making your computer to restart before even reaching the log on screen.
