Aqua-Soft ForumsI just feel that it's important to say that I think it's great with what Unbeliever is doing with the boards at the moment. The forums do get messed up at times with people posting in the wrong places and it's good to know that things are being tightened up and enforced (and god do I hope I'm posting this in the right forum lol).
I know how some people might think it's harsh to have their topic closed and to be suspended for 3 days but firstly, the rules aren't that difficult and if everyone follows them then the community will benefit from it, and secondly I've been with AS for a long time and the rules that exist now are excellent compared to what they used to be.
The main thing about this community is that it allows people to help each other and provide information about customization, technology, etc and if the rules get followed then that information is so much easier to get access to.
Another reason why I wanted to make this post is because I feel for Unbeliever, I really do. I've been a moderator for forums before and it's not easy, and when it gets to the point that the boards are getting messed up too much sometimes you've got to be harsh when enforcing rules. It's not pleasant for anyone, even the moderator, but it needs to be done. It can be quite depressing and frustrating for moderators and it's never nice to do something that can leave you looking like you're the bad guy.
So I think it's important that people see and respect what it is that Unbeliever and the rest of the guys here who run Aqua-Soft are doing for YOUR benefit!
