Yeh, I was happy too, its not too bad of a shadow either, nice and smooth looking

For now yes. the feature is only included in the recent beta's. And there's more: performance tweaks and ... windows-tiling, which is very cool.

So, you'd have to become an Object Desktop costumer in order to enjoy a taskbar shadow without an extra app to do so (like the mentioned Addshadow.exe). Let's hope Stardock updates WindowFX stand alone before Windows Longho...$%...Vista comes out.
