Dock key trigger

I'd like to able to trigger the appearens of the dock by a key press (for example, the dock will appear as long as i keep the ctrl key pressed). this will solve the problem of the dock disturbing the work in the lower part of the screen when it's not needed. is there any way to enable this feature in object dock? and if not, is there any other dock software that allows it?

This is the wrong forum to post this in, but you could just "automatically hide" a dock. What dock are you using?

the problem with automatic hide is that the dock appears even if my cursor isnt entirely at the bottom of the screen, i can for example click on a point 0.5cm above the bottom and the dock will be activated.
