One of the best icon artists in the theming communities, creator of such icon sets as World of Aqua series, The Matrix Reloaded, LotR - Weaponry of the Middle Earth and many others, Dave Brasgalla has released his latest, movie-inspired icon set - War Of The Worlds.

This set consists of 10 icons, both inspired or from the movie directed by Steven Spielberg.

PS: I must admit i`m a bit dissapointed Dave didn`t include the tripods or aliens in this set. I was hoping with all the hype, this would be something like The Matrix Rebooted :cry:

he's not bad in the movie at all. i love that look when his daughter told him about his son "borrowing" his car. that stare is so funny. he's good at that.

cool icons. but, i won't be using that red plant infested harddrive though. makes me look like i'm in love with poison ivy from batman

im sure he would've held hands, or.. tentacles, and talked in a very good manner about how the aliens were, jerks. lol.

anyways, i believe there wernt enough icons, but still good.

Originally, this set was schedule to be release one week before the movie opened. Thus the reason this icon set contains no Tripods.

Everthing has to go through approval at DreamWorks, Paramount's legal and marketing department. Then, we get the approval from the film makers, it takes longer then we all expected.

That's why there is a unique page, so the offical web site can link to us at that landing page. We also listed as partner on wotw web site.
