hey. i'm on wxp and don't have an ipod. but, i use itunes as my primary media player. i've got multiplugin working and all is well. so...any reason to upgrade to 4.8 or 4.9? (yeah, i know there's multiplugin .66 and .67. i'm just wondering if it's worth upgrading).

Why would you not want to upgrade? Everything is fine, and the latest has podcasting support.

Well one reason to upgrade is to take advantage of the new features in v0.66 and v0.67 of the Multi-Plugin (Foobar Passthrough in particular) even if you don't want to use any of the new iTunes features.
Videos can be purchased from the music store or downloaded outside iTunes and added to your library, and podcasting is now supported by iTunes and even has it's own section on the music store.
I wasn't familiar with pod-casting at all until i used 4.9... now i love it! Inside Mac radio is a particularly good podcast to subscribe to for aqua-softers!
4.9 has also been claimed to run a bit faster - imo, i haven't noticed anything scalably different.. but can't complain 
well, i took the plunge (how's that for dramatic?). i think i'm probably gonna go back cuz the 'lomghorn alternative' theme i'm using is not compatible. but yeah, 4.9 is fine and .67 works like a champ.
