i search in the computer market, normaly monitor only have square size like 23", 20" or 19" ,

All monitors are rectangle shaped, they can be in 4:3 ratio (1024x768 for example) or widescreen (1680x1050 -- I believe it's 16:9 ratio?) when a computer monitor is advertised as being 23" it is measured from one corner of the monitor to the opposite one (top-right to bottom-left). It is because of this that a 20" standard (4:3) display is very different in size from a 20" widescreen.

Well.. I'm using two monitors (normal rectanghle monitors, 4:3 ratio). I've spanned my desktop as one single virtual desktop between these two, thus I get ultra-wide space of 2560x1024 resolution.

Too bad that wasn't true though... when you buy an 19" it's actually 19"x19" :P

you know. i have this monitor that is so cool, it's 30 inch, but only has 3000 x 1 resolution at 100 ppi. :D. JK. standard 85 ppi 15 inch monitor at 1024 by 800. theres some computers that have like 200 ppi monitors. i have to really SQUINT at those monitors. i like it at around 100-106 ppi. it's perfect for me.

1680 x 1050 is a 16:10 ratio screen, which is a widescreen monitor resolution. The same goes with 1280 x 800.
