I wrote some lines about skinning in the help file:
For skin developers:
You may dump the iTunes resources for creating a skin based on them by checking the option in the "Other" tab.
After iTunes is restarted with this option checked, close it, and you will see a "Developer Template" folder in the Skins folder.
Inside that folder there is an Extended folder, in which there are all the images iTunes uses.
Part of those images should be deleted.
The first iTunes_xxx.bmp file that should be in use is the 39x39 sized burn icon. Delete all the iTunes_xxx.bmp filesbefore it. Usually they appear as black rectangles.
The last image that should be in use is the mask of the Equalizer bar, sized 21x184. Delete all the iTunes_xxx.bmp files after it.
All the files between those two may be edited.
All the QT_xxx.bmp and QT_xxx_Mask.bmp files may be edited, until the first image that has a black line on it's side (only on one side) and it's mask.
Delete every QT_xxx.bmp and QT_xxx_Mask.bmp file after that image.
If you don't want to edit any other image in that folder, delete it.
Only keep images that you want to be changed in your skin folder.
You should change the name of the Developer Template folder, as the files there will be overwritten if you do a resource dump again.
You must keep the bitmaps 32-bit in the Extended folder. Otherwise iTunes will crash on startup.
Thank you very much! localhost totally I am been thankful with you, you follow asi is excellent plugin, thanks
