dissappearing desklet label?

well i am having a problem with my avedesk desklets for some reson no matter what i do i cannot get the text that displays the label and sub-label of that particular icon. they used to show up but now they wont for some reason. i think i may have clicked something that may have changed this but i cant figure out what it is. i tried to re-install avedesk but that didnt work either. Heres what they look like.

Umm... this may seem like a stupid suggestion, but check the colors of the text? You're running a white background...it could be that the text is white as well.

Do you have the choosen font installed? If you choose a font and afterwards uninstall it AveDesk can't find it anymore.
