Problem running VS.

ok heres my problem i have two computers one has windowblinds on it and the other doesnt. (i think that may be the cause of the problem) well anyway when i download a regular vs (not .wba) and try to run it on my comp. w/ windowblinds it brings up displat properties but all of the scrooldown menues like windows and buttons, color scheme, and font size go blank. for some reason it refuses to change or even display the vs. but on my other computer w.out wb they will all show up and i just press apply or ok and they will work. i dont understand what is going on. anyone else had this problem. please help thanks.

You cannot use visual style (.msstyle format) in a pc with WindowBlinds installed .

Once you uninstall WB AND patch the uxtheme.dll, THEN it will work.

wait when this problem occurs, is WB Running, i mean AT ALL, like in the systray?, just switch to classic theme and unload WB, then it should allow you to use WB and VS

Once you patch your uxtheme.dll, make sure your Themes Services are turned on also.
