I remember seeing a post related to this, but it did not completely fix my problem and I can't find the post now anyway.
Thing is I'm using WindowBlinds with KoL's Tiger theme, and if I install MDS (now MSN Search Toolbar) and activate the text box in the start menu bar, the box is higher than the actual start menu bar. Not very attractive, to say the least.
I've tried tinkering with the registry and i've tried using resource hacker to change the height of images and buttons, but to no avail. I just can't figure out how to make the text box smaller so that it looks ok up there. You guys have any pointers?
Also, I'm aware of the spotlight clone based on GDS, but is there noone based on MDS? I'm thinking it should be rather easy to fix, especially since MDS now sports a floating search bar. Any ideas on how to make that floater appear/disappear by clicking the top right magnifying glass? (like in the spotlight clone). Perhaps with Samurize?
Cheers!
