Just kidding, but anyway, heres my "duckie-like" schpiel:

We are in the presence of someone truely great. One of the best skinners we've ever seen is a constant contributer here, yet hes going without nearly enough admiration. Im talking about a man named:

LYNCHKNOT! (Y) , well his names most likely not really lychknot, but you get the point.

He's made some of the most accurate AND most origional skins I have seen. He is always contributing, and without a lot of fuss. He doesnt hype his stuff, he just slowly releases quality skins.

We should all use this thread to give him the Thanks he deserves.

Thank you lynchknot, for being one of the most dedicated and least appreciated members of the community. When others leave in the face of criticizm, you just keep on rockin'. :own:

No, I was complaining in another thread that the S.Member badges were causing too much trouble, and that I would gladly give mine up, so Goku did the very Communist thing, and made everyone "equal" again.

I hope this thread's intention is to thank LYNCHKNOT his awesome work, and only that, but if another skin/developer decides to leave I would not be very surprised...

People always complain about: "I have no skinning skills but I would like to help the community". Well, here is the oportunity to thank a great skinner his effort and dedication, and why not, help the community grow tighter.

Maybe it is a bit off-topic, but as some posts make a skinner/developer take the decision to leave, I would like this thread to be considered as our (the community) display of admiration to them. Because there are not only unkind words...

We love you guys!

I first experienced that trick at IEXbeta board - what made it worse was it was the German language forum - I could not understand why there was a whole thread dedicated to "I love lynchknot". It was starting to piss me off.

When using bablefish to translate, it made it even worse - it did not make sense at all. Eventually I understood when I quoted someone and noticed the hack.

Anyway, I'm low maintence - "thank you" does feel good every once in a while - but i'm modest - i'm just having fun - and I like to change my browser look alot - so I pass it on to you.....

When I see no responses, sometimes I think no one uses Firebird anymore...............

Just to add my two cents:

I'm not a big poster here, but a long time lurker. However I like to give thanks where it's due, not only to lynchknot, but to everyone who makes Aqua-Soft what it is.

When I first came to this site back in November my desktop was using the silver Luna scheme. Now I've got Iceman's VS for XP SP1. Before I had Winamp with a boring skin on. Now I've got Spidercrab's iTunes 3 (and Duckie's iTunes 4, I'm deciding which I prefer) for QCD. Before I had Netscape 7 with the dull silver theme. Now I've got Firebird with one of many lynchknot Safari-inspired themes. And Y'z Dock, of course, packed with icons from JonMega's site. I've probably missed some names, and I'm sorry, there's just so many of you.

It may not be as amazing looking as some of your desktops, I can't afford DesktopX etc, but I love it. And I thank you all for it, developers and posters to Aqua-Soft. You've saved me from Luna hell.

There is a minimum payout of $25 - so far I have .64 cents! - lol - Being temporarily out of work taking care of my elderly mother full time, I put a donation button on my page - so far, out of 34,000 visits one person donated ten dollars! It suprised the hell out of me - I did not expect anyone to do that. Donations are always nice but I don't really care - I have a lot of fun making themes. I'm artistically challenged (stick figures are about all I can draw) but the computer has enabled me to create along side of those who are truly gifted using other's graphics or using them as templates. I have a bad connection between my brain and my hand. What I envision, my hand could never carry out. I am finally able to release my creative urge into something that actually looks pretty nice!
