Dreams

Lately I've had strange dreams and I started to remember them pretty vivdly. So I'll tell you my most recent one and also give you the insight on what I think it means. Post yours to but make sure they're at least semi complete, not just a bit and piece. Thanks!

From the utmost point in this dream I can remember...

Me along with a few other people, were some type of vigilanties attempting to escape possible capture from pursuing authority figures. As they ended up catching on about us they had me and my friends surrounded with nowhere to go. Nervous, my first reaction was to shoot my way out of there. As I killed several cops I managed to make an escape way for myself, although I was injured in the process. Suprisingly all the police were killed by us so I was free to sit down and check my wounds. For an odd reason, a man dressed in a brown plaid suit said he could help me out. So as he leaned towards me he looked at my chest and grabbed an old rusty pole he had that was very jagged and started ripping my chest open with it. I felt the pain so bad in this dream I could swear it was real life. He had this evil glare in his eyes as he broke through my chest plate and cranked the pipe through me. After I had felt so much pain I though this would kill me. All of a sudden, maybe close to near death, ghosts started appearing everywhere killing people shreiking these terrible sounds. The ghosts released these purple molecule type objects through the air and as it touched people they instantly died. When I saw the ghosts coming after me next, I ran as far and fast as I could. Through the chase I never ran out of energy but neither did these spirits. They were always one step behind me, ready to finish me off. In a quick closing, my only soveirgnity was an old wooden house that repelled the spirits and would provide me shelter. So in the end of the dream I made it there and ended up half dead but still very much alive...

[broken Down Version]

Being a vigilante is easy. I am rebellious in nature but have a guilty side for things I may have done prior and Im trying to rectify them. The man in the plaid suit is the corporate world.I am searching for a place in his world and always seem to get "my heart ripped out" by my attempts. The ghosts are things or people in my past that have/still do care about me and I have hurt. They have eliminated the danger I am in but are still on a mission to reclaim me from my current path.

yo I had a great dream,.. I was in a parallell universe,.. and it was the same as here but they had cooler stuff.

Like this coke i drank was really great like an added flavour but i cant say what.

I actuallt asked someone to get me paper and a pen and I wrote down what it said on the nutriitional value so id remember because i knew it was a dream.

It was a fully covered plastic orange and blue bottle,... made under licence of spiffy spiffy zaphorite industries it said,... with a contains a special product,.. like redbull here has "contains taurin" label,... it had a strange very small label on the back,.. like contains "aerobrophite",... some strange stuff,.. nothing on the bottle is what we know of here, just maybe the Kj value or calories are what you could relate.

but all in all the graphical design was much much better what we have here,... what was weird was that it was so well made everything where it should be.

I really tried to remember even wrote it down quickly knowing it was a dream,.. but I couldn;t/

all of a sudden I was talking to this girl and as I was talking in an instant the "blur" as you'd say of the dream sharpened,.. in a split second it became crystal sharp,.. probably because i was shocked at something in the dream,.. I went ok where the hell am I "really". and i could see her,.. weird thing wah everything was at 7500k colour saturation,... like everything was just a real real cool shade of blue, thats when i actually realised that my surroundings were like that,.. before that I was just looking at the bottle.

her face was crystal clear to me,.. clearer that real life, but at about 20fps.. jet black hair ,.. bright blue eyes.

There was this lady in Pakistan that secretly fell in love with another man without her parents' consent. This is about her, not me.

So they were going in their car to the Mahfil where they were to be married. But on the way they had a car crash and the guy died. She went wild with grief but she had the mind to run away from the scene, and she went back home. However, her clothes were still drenched in his blood.

That night she had a weird dream. There was a very old withered man who kept repeating 'You don't have much time. You know what you have to do'. She woke up in a sweat. The next night she had the same dream. Again she woke up in a frenzy.

The third night while she was sleeping, there was a loud sudden knock. She got up and when she opened the door it was the same old guy from her dream.

He says, "You don't have much time. Use Tide Extra!"

Im gonna sound like a phuck, and a lunatic, but hey, im alright with that! Well, here it goes.

Everyone once in awhile, I have these dreams. In these dreams, I see the future. Nothing important, but things that eventually happen about a week or so later. They never warn me of danger, nor serve any important purpose. But for some reason when I relive the moment, thats when Ill again have realized it. DO NOT TELL ME ITS DEJA VU! I AM SO SICK OF PEOPLE SAYING THIS! THE EVENT ALWAYS HAPPENES FROM A DREAM! ITS NOT LIKE IN THE MATRIX WHERE I SEE DOUBLE, IT IS REALLY ME, REMEMBERING A DREAM. well, sorry if that sounds dumb and crazy, but I just thought thats what I would put. Call me a liar or whatever you will, but Im speaking the truth...

Have any of you ever had this type of dream,.. it is the best, its even better than the flying floating type of dream.

Basicaly in the dream you know its a dream, and you have strange powers. There was this real real detailed mockup of a city scape like a scale model, about the size of a table real real well done almost a 1:1 copy, little real cars going around little people everything. I wanted to run my hands and actually touch all these little things in it.

Then all of a sudden my hands became see through type of and I could really run my hands into it, like it passed through my hands but I could still feel it. I was like what the hell,..

Then I saw a glass or bottle on a sofa and I tried it and it worked again, I could sort of pass my hand through it when I forced my hand to. I actually picked it up, then forced my hand through it and caught it again as a neat trick.

Then I realised I could actually will it off the table and into my hand, I could move objects into my hand frm a distance,...

So I took to the streets and surprised people look what I can do type of thing, it was great.

Lifting books and pens into the air, it was great.

I always have that dream, but the best dream is like the one above where you find your self in a paralell dimension, where everything is the same, but the little details in how everything is different are really interesting, like you see a ford car but it looks different, not futuristically different it's still a 1995 ford, but it just looks cooler, you just think, hey that's what they should have made them back in my dimension. Or a coke bottle like I explained above.

Then you start looking at the people their clothes, it's just weird but cooler, like everything has been designed by a graphical artist instead of an economist worried about budgets.

So I started to examine what dreams are really about, I come from a family where my mother and father are renowned psychologists, and I actually came upon some interesting conclusions of my own.

I believe that dreams are not just your brain recalling memories and attempting to form a coherent sequence of events that make sense to your personality. I believe that in dreams are not just taking place within the physical confinements of your skull.

The proof?

2 things.

1. You never, atleast I and all the people i have talked to, can never feel "momentum" in dreams. Momentum is a physical property of 3d space and the "real" world that we live in. This is why I believe that dreams are not simply reconstructions of our real world by our mind at night.

You can never feel momentum in dreams. What do I mean by momentum,.. well it's difficult to explain, it's not really something people take notice of in their daily lives. But when I was younger, up until a few years ago I used to be a race car driver, so I know exactly what acceleration, but more importantly decelleration really feels like. G-forces if you will. You cannot feel these in your dreams.

I've had many dreams where I was back in my old racer, but everytime I felt the absence of g-forces. Like I knew there was something wrong. It was the fact that there were no g's, no momentum.

2. Spatial capacity is non existant in dreams. Have you ever slept after a heavy night of drinking? Well more often than not in your dreams you'll drink something, usually fruit juice or coke or even water, because your body is dehydrated inn real life. Pay attention to exactly how much you can drink in your dream,... you never get full, ever.

What does all of this add upto according to me?

I think that dreams simulate things very well, but they simulate them too well, even things that your "brain" shouldnt really have any experience of knowing. Like momentum, why is it that in every dream it is impossible to feel momentum. Is it because your brain knows it is simulating an environment without gravity force and mass, because it knows it is imagination and leaves out things of the real world? No way... I mean why momentum?

Or is it because it simulates the fact that you never get full because it knows it is simulating within your imagination and knows you are really not drinking anything? No way.

I believe that in your dreams you really are in a place far away from 3d spacetime, gravity, force and real world objects, you are "really" there. The things that your brain could have never known about are simulated too well in a dream.

Preech it brotha Three Drives! That was a really good reply man, I acutally like a lot of your conclusions! In fact, some of the stuff you were talking about sounds a lot like a Lucid Dream, or deams where you know your in a dream so your in control. Pretty cool man, pretty cool
