Actually I had a celeron 2.4 ghz in my pc then I stole a pentium 4 with 2.8 ghz and the same FSB and with the

P4 my PC boots up like 5x longer (fo real). Its probably not my bios cause I tried resetting it and there are

wow never know mobo controls USB speed...and wat does USB gotta do with Processer.

Cerelon and Pentium are the same Cerelon are just damge P4 they have the same core and everything . In this case it must be Northwood core. with same clock speed a P4 will allways out perform a cerelon any old time. And wtf are u talking with BIOS and booting ur computer. Your mobo is proballly a piece of crap and doesnt support FSB up to 533 that's why it slower....

Guys, this is a Celeron-D we're talking about here.

Celeron D's are roughly, equal to the last generation (Socket A) Athlon XP's...which isn't bad at all.

And while I'm a AMD-head, Celeron-D's are that much better than the old Celerons that I wouldn't have a qualm about recommending it, as a low end option for gramma.

Yeh u are rite but from wat he was saying he was talking about northwood now Cerelon D is different 64bit with Prescott core but remember it still only have 256 L2 cache compare to Pentium 1Mb or 2MB and of course no HT support. So basiclly cerelon sucks and are for cheap ass me wat i have is AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800 Toledo...anybody got anything better around here ;)
