just one word: GREAT
thx for your fantastic work. any chance to make the "go" button same size like the others?
TOM
Thank you. I'm not sure why, but the go button does not want to cooperate. The bottom gets cut off - i'll work on it......
just one thing:
i guess it has nothing to do with your theme, because i saw this prob with other themes too. maybe u know a solution.

TOM
ah, i forgot. and one more question. (i know i get on your nerves LOL)
would it be possible in the future to make a button-set, that is in standard dark and by mouse-over bright?
TOM
yes, I can just reverse the css. I'll work on it sometime, when i'm finished working this out.
I never seem to have that problem - what are you using?
Oh man, awesome once again Lynchknot. How do you keep doing this? Really cool stuff. I always have a hard time deciding which of your themes im going to use. Damn you lynchknot.
hehe - thanks...I need to work on the scrollbar buttons.........

The problem with Firebird is it uses only one icon size for the Go button. I can include a large Go button but when using the small size theme the Go button will only follow the large navigation - even when I add small icon navigation (it will ignore it). There is a bug posted at Bugzilla regarding this. If you are only going to use the large icons then no problem. If you use the small icon selection the Go button is spaced improperly.
Thanks again Lynchknot! Mercury is very nice, great job om the buttons and everything all works perfectly. Address and search fields look great here!
I'm using version 20030411 by the way.
ahhh. problem solved. i was using version 20021207. now i´m using "20030513 Mozilla Firebird/0.6" and everything is great.
damn, it looks so coool. thx once again lynchknot. ![]()

[from another board]
Couple of things:
1. The chrome looks really nice (especially the scrollbars) but I'd like a version with just the buttons.
2. The 16px back-forward buttons are misaligned - they're 1 pixel lower than the other 16px buttons.
3. There isn't a small throbber, and there's a problem with the alignment of something in 16px mode which actually makes 16px toolbars taller than large toolbars if icons are placed on the menu bar row.
- Chris
Hello Chris
1. it's on the way -
2. i'm not seeing a misalignment - see screenshot below - I cannot fix something I can't reproduce - sorry - - is anyone else having this problem?
3. My toolbars are exactly the same height determined by the height of the url bar - so no need for 2 throbber sizes - I have no idea why your toolbar changes
4. there was a bookmark properties dialog box size problem - it's been fixed and updated at my site
5. thank you for bringing bugs to my attention.

MercuryX now available (plain version icons only) at my website.
Mercury has been updated
*UPDATED*
all updates:
*Fixed bookmark properties dialog box
*Removed scrollbarbutton border
*Fixed movement of direction icons when customize dialog box is open
Thanks for the updates Lynchknot, you're dooing a fantastic job!

I am experimenting the same problem, but only with rounded adress and search bars (no problem with the squared ones).
Great updates lynchknot.
Sorry you are experiencing problems with alignment. Perhaps Tom's post will help.

Don't worry. I'm almost sure it has all to do with my Phoenix version. I have been using Phoenix + your skins since you release your fisrt Safari like one and I won't stop using them because of this minor "bug" or whatever you want to call it. :rule:
Mercvert (sounds stupid but can't think of anything else) is available now at my website. Also, Mercury has been updated with new Print icon (was not aligned perfectly)

@ender:
man, just download the latest "nighty release" (or what ever they call it). delete all your old versions of phoenix/firebird and u should be fine. ![]()
@lynchknot:
man, u rule. fantastic. thx sooo much. i just love the skin.

just one thing.
i know that the grayed out "stop loading button" and the "go forward button" make sence. and i understand your thought by setting it this way. but in my eyes it will look better if they would not change to this alpha effect. well, don´t take me to serious. just my thoughts. anyway. i love this skin. it rocks. :own:
TOM
Hello - as far as the buttons turning transparent when inactive, that is the way they are from Max Rudberg. The only buttons I made are the bookmark, new window, go, history and print.
Mercvert has been updated with new style tabs

The theme was missing the right side tab border. It has been updated and is worth re-downloading - the tabs look much better now.
Man Lynchknot, the new theme looks so eye-candy! I love it, every day I get closer to switching my visual style to Mercury (from Kol's Aqua), but change is hard for me.
