[Help] Photoshop Problem
What is the actual error message "something is wrong with the scratch file" surely isn't the message you are getting...
Its probably telling you that your scratch disk is the same as the disk from which PS runs - it doesnt like it very much but it can live with it.

In Photoshop, try going to Edit>Preferences>Plug-Ins & Scratch Disks (if you can get there before it stops responding, of course!). In the window, under the "Scratch Disks" section, try selecting "Startup" for the "First" slot, and "None" for the second through fourth. This is what it should be as default, so if your settings are already like that, I don't know how to help you any further... :slant:
Good luck! ![]()

For Photoshop CS2 --=>
If you would like to reset all of your Photoshop preferences, simultaneously hold down the Control+Alt+Shift (Windows) or on a Mac, Command+Option+Shift (Mac) keys as you launch the application.
