Well, after lots of delays and continual scrapping of bad designs, I finally have put together my professional portfolio/resume site. Feel free to stop on by and take a look.
Please give me some feedback as to your experience with the site. I am always looking to improve it, so let me know if there is something that you love or hate.

Nicely done...perhaps make the main column a little bit wider? 457 px seems a bit small, even for the lower end displays.

@nightcrawler - I wanted to make sure that if someone visited the site at 800x600 (yes they are still out there 
), that they would be able to view the site without having to scroll horizontally. The content area is 457px, but you need to add on another 140px on the left side. So by my gorilla math that's a total of 597px wide which allows the site to be view at most resolutions without too many issues.
Considering the low number of 800*600 displays (you could check the site stats and see if it's included in there), did you look into a liquid layout as well?

I thought they were called fluid not liquid 
.
I really wasn't interested in doing a fluid layout for my site since I had a specific idea where i wanted elements to be and how i wanted it to render are each browser and resolution. Fluid layouts do the job, but I've yet to be happy with any that i've made.
Are you experiencing any specific difficulty with the resolution that you view it at? Or are you just wondering why I chose to have a smaller content area?
