yeah i know, Systats already have a network monitor and i love it as h**l but i doesnt show how much that have been downloaded/uploaded and it would be really fun to see these figures
..i've seen a docklet for Samurize that does this so it shouldnt be impossible for Systats to do this to ..soo ..how do I/we fix a docklet/script that does this then ![]()
[request] Network Monitor
is there a netowrk meter that could get from a networked dsl?
naa ..already checked that one out and it only shows history for the up/down speed ..i wanna see how much i've downloaded/uploaded ..like this Samurize script is showing
--> http://www.deviantart.com/view/3998905/ ..check out the Sent/Received, thats what i want to see ![]()
It's not that hard to add it yourself.
The PDHMeter class is capable of getting a wide range of values from the network adapters including totals up/downloaded.
As far as the 'networked DSL' is concerned, I'm not sure what is being asked... Do you mean a DSL box that is connected to the PC via ethernet? In that case you setup the PDHMeter to look at the NIC that is being used to connected to the DSL box.
HTH
I dont know if this is on topic really, but I'm looking for a config which will access my router to tell me who is active on my network... i live in an apartment and I want to know when/if people access my network, without popping into my router config myself... anything available for samurize?

already searched through PDHMeter and stats for download/upload wasnt in there (just a history of up/down speed)
OK, my mistake, you are right. It's the total *per second*.
One workaround that comes to mind is to write a script that keeps the totals for you.
thought of that, but i know s**t about scripting so ![]()
If you have a config that you like, I can probably modify it for you.
Post a link or attach it here if you like...

Only just saw this...
It's not likely that any external monitoring utility can access this info without some considerable effort because your router doesn't expose it's internal workings to windows. I don't rate your chances highly.
It *may* be possible with some fancy HTML/XML coding but it would take a better person than I.
aight thanks, I didnt know if it was possible and its surely beyond my comprehension...
