thanks. the problem with the less grainy, is that its not just like i can take the brush from a real itunes mac screenshot, cause the itunes program changes the image before applying it. so i have to make tons of variations and try them all out. it already took me a long time to get it this close.

What about opening iTunes.app on a mac using resedit and grabbing the actual image it uses for the background mask?
