[Help] How to post news in IPB

I am using IPB in my website; And I cant figure out how to post news in the IPB Portal.

Does anybody know how?

I have looked all over the ACP.

I will NOT use any other forum services, I am sticking with IPB never using vBulletin; etc.

this seems to be a question for the offical support of ipb.

you have to configure the portal in the admin-cp (on general settings there is a dropdown at the bottom where you can choose "IPB-Portal" from) to display news from a specific forum.

every topic started in that forum (or subforum) will be placed on the portal.

to get the forum id open the forum and look at the address bar
