Maybe if it is possible could someone develop a desklet that converts mac widgets to desklets that work for avedesk/or allows you to use widgets through avedesk...so we don't miss out on any of the fun. Um please don't rip me to shreds here people it's only a mere request i don't intend to hurt anyone by making it. Also i really would like it if no-one says something like '...then get Tiger' because it's really inappropriate in an avdesk request thread. Now that i've got those issues off my chest i can now say 'please reply soon' (not that im some sad twit who waits on threads day in day out-meaning no offence to anyone 
).
[Request] Widget converter
um i always though it converted mac widgets into konfab widgets....thats what i assumed....if im wrong im sorry but thats what i really meant. What i want is a desklet that allows you to use widgets from the mac site with avedesk. I say this because this would increase the amount of widets available for avedesk.
Nope...read the other thread that was recently created, it simply makes a zipped folder (full of resources anyway) into a Konfab widget.

Konfabulator and Avedesk use two different programming languages, and the structure that the resources must follow are also very different. Konfab uses javascript and xml and different calls that wouldn't be functional or translated to AveDesk. I believe it would be just about impossible to create a Konfabulator --> AveDesk converter.
::edit:: i reread your original post, and noticed that you weren't the one to mention Konfab. 
. Are you talking about Dashboard widgets? woah now, that would be even more impossible to create a Dashboard widget --> AveDesk converter. We are talking totally different. The only way to get Dashboard/Konfab widgets into AveDesk Desklets is to have the image resources, photoshop to reorganize the resources, and some time to evaluate the abilities of the widget, and what AveDesk is cabable of, and trying to program it to make it work from scratch. There are a lot of things that Konfab and Dashboard can do that AveDesk just can't, and vice versa, so you have to find work-arounds, if even possible. But there will never be a simple converter solution.
Well it was just a mere though i had . If it had been remotely possilbe it would me quite good indeed!.Oh well i guess it's time for someone to close this thread...
