The "Searchbar button thingy" as you call it, will be present in both the WB skin as well as the Objectbar themes.
This part of the GUIKit is already complete - we are currently fine-tuning the per-app skins and doing the MSStyle because there was a spate of requests for one.
If you guys want a sneak preview of the iTunes skin, lemme know. I just finished that this morning 
Well... I use winamp (with an itunes skin, how ironic) anyway... but a sneak peak wouldn't harm anyone... With permission, maybe i could try my hand at porting the itunes skin to winamp? I'm no skinner, but i do love to tinker... A itunes minicontrols shot would be nice for me to use as resources...

About the Start Button, anyone know of any way that i can tinker around with it myself in SkinStudio, so that I can change the start button bitmap into what Dobee used in his Pixel Perfect Tiger (pic attached below)?
Like i said, the last time i tried, the margins were limited and SkinStudio wouldn't let me (was tinkering with Pm2k5 WB)... ResHack maybe?
Granted that Dobee did an msstyle, and this is WB that we're talking about... Maybe there's no way anyway... :slant:
Well... if it can't be done.. Maybe it's time that i switched to the dark side (ObjectBar), though i'm gonna miss my menu pop-up sounds... And quick volume hotkeys (came with Finderbar), and TrueLaunchBar... That or by stopping the use of Finder Bar emu apps altogether... Oh well... Life's a lot of compromises, eh...

Not to sound like a searchlight fanatic... but i take the msstyle also includes a searchlight button?
been playin around with wb again (bought it, haven't really used it... darn...) but it keeps messin my font settings... or maybe its just me and the fact that i tinkered around with it at 5 in the morning... not enuff sleep + customizing windows = a huge mess...
gotta try again it seems...
As for the start button problem, I fiddled with STOMP WB and managed to cobble up a quick solution using tclocklight's hide start and using amit's ayumi screeny (the finderbar/objectbar part) as a background to a truelaunchbar toolbar... messy as hell... works tho, now i just gotta find out how to tell the empty truelaunchbar toolbar to stay put... tends to dissappear...

I wish people would stop calling windows themes "GuiKits" - they are not and it only creates confusion, in a board where both mac and windows releases are posted.

Hmm ... we need some new universal terms created to set apart the lonely .wba from a set of skins which aim to give you a complete Windows makeover.
"ThemePack" sounds a little pleibian I nominate "Theme Suite" or "GUIKit for Windows"

i like "guikit for windows"... its clear, concise and prevents accumulations of terms for people who dont frequent the site... in my land of a million acronyms and titles, simplicity and clarity is always appreciated by everyone

I remember some of them being called "Suites" and that always added a nice, professional touch.
if its posted in windows its for windows unless someone is just to stupid and post it in the wrong section.. just call it Suites because thats what windowblinds skins that include alot usually are called 
and plus it makes them sound cool
