SysStats weather (any) crashes AveDesk

There seems to be something wrong with my particular AveDesk SysStats setup. Mind you that I know SysStats works, the world clock works just fine (I have 3 of them going). However, no matter what weather desklet I try to use, it always crashes AveDesk (not "crashes", but decides opens up JIT for debugging).

Has anyone had any similar experiences, or know a possible solution to this?

I'm having this same issue, and installing the XML didn't fix it. As soon as I try to load or install a Weather config, Avedesk crashes right out.

I have the same problem, but mini weather works.

The dashboard weather config crashes it out.

The only thing I can think of is whatever the latest security update was from windows update may have broken it. That's the only thing that changed on my system .

i had this problem where avedesk will crash when using a sysstats weather config.

i installed the xml and that fixed everything for me.

but as a temp solution i was using the weather docklet packed in objectdock.

crap, just updated windows xp2 and now im having the same problem as u guys Installing msxml.msi didnt help. Anyone know a fix?
