[Help] Miranda IM Buddies

HELP! I'm using Miranda IM, but it says all of my AIM buddies are signed off, but they are online in my Buddy List

Can anybody help me fix this?

he means that the program is showing that his buddies are offline when they are really online (in the list)

So to contact list shows his buddies as being online, but "the program" is showing his buddies as being offline? What is "the program"? I mean you have the contact list, a messaging window, and that's about it...

Does he mean "online" if he starts AIM, but offline if he starts miranda?

Sorry if I'm being thick here, but every different scenario has different solutions...

You have to be signed on in Miranda to see if people are online or not. Right click the tray icon.

You'll need to sign on, by rightclicking the miranda icon, choosing your protocol, and selecting your status (online). Hope that helps.

You can't have both AIM and Miranda signed online...one (the first one)will sign off.

Quit AIM, and then follow Phat-Liz0rd's instructions.
