I think that the Aqua-soft forums are full of great material to help all 'Community Members' try to achieve the ultimate goal of making their WinXP OS's geared toward looking like the Mac OS in both GUI and application/file function... ![]()
I would really like to see a thread (perhaps a sticky) with some basic information of what Microsoft component/software/app is needed to be installed prior to trying to install and properly run the wonderful emulation apps (Hyperb0le's 'System Preference' & 'Preview'), (Mr. Aqua's soon to released latest 'Falcon')...
I really do understand that our community developers do not want to get bombarded with PM's asking them questions about their apps, but a 'basic info' thread (IMHO) would serve the overall 'Aqua-soft Community' well...
You could put a disclaimer to the effect: "Please D/L and install at your own risk, ect., ect. ect..."
I just received a PM from Alilm, one of our developers informing me that "Yes, the Micorsoft .NET Framework component is needed in order to run Hyperb0le's 'System Preferences & Preview' apps as well as Mr. Aqua's soon-to-be-released latest version of 'Falcon' app...but that it is not needed to run his 'Finder v1.5'app, and even he thinks that it would be a good, productive idea to have some sort of 'generalized thread/w sticky' to this effect...
Thank you kindly...
