Photoshop Fullscreen Problem.

Hi, i have an annoying problem when i try to use photoshop in semi fullscreen mode with the windows Taskbar at the top of the desktop.

What happens is the taskbar overlaps Photoshop and I cannot access the menus.

Is there a way to tell either photoshop or XP that windows shouldnt appear there ? Or other way to fix this issue.

Reason im asking on these forums is that many OSX lovers use taskbar on top in Windows and i would guess that they have come accross this problem in the past.

You could always just drag the taskbar so it is hidden away

Or uncheck "Keep taskbar on top of other windows. Or check the Auto-hide the taskbar feature.

Thanks for the suggestions, however neither really create the most desireable behaviour.

The problem with unchecking "Keep taskbar on top of other windows" means that any maximised application appears over the taskbar area. This removes most application switching functionality that the task bar is so useful for.

The issue with auto-hiding the taskbar is kind of asthetic, in that I like the taskbar to be visible at all times (appart from in fullscreen photoshop mode ).

Please dont consider me ungratful for your suggestions, they were good ones, unfortunately not exactly what i wanted .

Not a problem. I'm set up at work with a dual monitor, so I can drag the task bar to the other side were I keep my palettes. I tend not to work in full screen mode as i am a Mac user at home and find when working in Windows maximized application windows seem very claustrophobic. Hope you find a solution.
